- Summary changed from RTL-IE-problem with breadcrumbs to IE-problem with breadcrumbs, arrows not showing up
As fschulze already said and Ofer confirmed this is only about the arrows not showing up now.

This appears to be a font problem: global_pathbar.pt uses ← to create the arrow. Apparently (some) standard Hebrew fonts used in windows do not have a left arrow character, which is why IE prints the missing-character box.
We should look for a replacement that is present in all Hebrew (and other RTL) fonts.

Assigning to limi since this requires a visual change. ← apparently is not a usable option here so we need to pick something else. Current suggestions are '<', '<-', '<<' or using an image.

While this is fixed I'm reopening the ticket so limi can pass judgement on its visual aspect.

This has been refixed to use » now, which should be ok.

Shouldn't we use « instead of » for the RTL version, as we need the arrows pointing left, not right?

Restested again and it works. The whole breadcrumbs direction is changed with dir="rtl", so the arrows actually point to the left ;)

Fixed #1 now, the arrows still are little boxes, but I saw one of them sometimes, so this seems to be a rendering bug in IE.
