Create a "buildout builder"

I like Matt Bowen's idea for having the buildout load external profiles, and also using Adobe AIR as a tool for making a user-friendly GUI for choosing the various configuration options.  http://m.odul.us/2007/10/28/buildout-integrators

AIR might be good as an option but I wouldn't rely on it.

 I have tried all three betas with Mac OS X 10.4.x,  AIR installation problems such as this are all too familiar (Adobe installations in general are very disappointing/troublesome), the  Adobe AIR sample applications and other AIR applications won't work for me,

The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged

• et cetera

—none of which I'd mind, if there was pleasing, easy to find support — but there is not

•  Adobe support for AIR has nothing relating to install
• I find that the  Adobe knowledge base for AIR comprises just one document which relates to proof of purchase (not to use of AIR) — doesn't inspire confidence.
