swf content not being rendered by Flash 10

Per :  http://www.littled.net/new/2008/10/17/plone-and-flash-player-10/ ATFile is not working with a new security feature implemented in Flash 10.

The reference to it in Adobe's documentation is:

Figured out the solution, and tested it against Plone 3.1.6 and Flash 10 in Firefox 3 and both IE6 and IE7.

This is related to #5778 and fixed on the 1.2 branch of ATCT in collective revision 76963.

Patch doesn't work for Plone 3.1.7 and ATFlashMovie 1.0.2. Solution from  https://weblion.psu.edu/trac/weblion/wiki/EmbeddingFlashUsingKupu (about patching Archetypes/Field.py) helps. Is it ATFlashMovie problem?

Plone 2.5.x is no longer being actively supported, so it's unlikely that this will be fixed in a future release. It should be straightforward to apply this patch to your local Plone 2.5.x instance to resolve the issue. It may make sense to appy this fix to the 1.0 branch of ATCT in case of a future release of that line, since the fix is harmless and straightforward.

I just released  http://pypi.python.org/pypi/Products.Flash10Fix which applies this patch to existing installations of ATContentTypes. There is an old-style tarball at  http://plone.org/products/products-flash10fix

Same Problem with .flv with an SWF Player (FlowPlayer, JW Player,...)

collective.flowplayer has no problem playing an FLV file for me in Plone 3.2.1/Flash10.
