Issues with the Mac installer's README.txt

For the Plone 3.3 installer labeled "OS X installer for Intel/PPC (10.4,10.5)" there are several issues with the README.txt, that pops up after the installation is done:

  1. When you're using the installer probably all you want is get going quickly. Why should I check buildout.cfg first and maybe get confused? We talk about customiaztion at the bottom of the text anyway. Let me run Plone first! I want to see the success. Adjust later.
  1. The text says I have to "run /Applications/Plone/zinstance/bin/buildout" after adjusting buildout.cfg but that doesn't work. Should be: "In a terminal window do:
    cd /Applications/Plone/zinstance
  1. In Production Mode Install running /Applications/Plone/zeocluster/bin/buildout

needs sudo permissions which is not mentioned in the text (but everywhere else it says sudo).

  1. The text mentions the file /Applications/Plone/zinstance/adminPassword.txt but that doesn't exist. I guess this is obsolete and should be removed completely or refering to buildout.cfg.

All this has been nearly completely reworked for 4. Please file a new ticket if the 4.0 README (now HTML) is misleading.
