Comment button not showing when using ATContentTypes

Reported by: cbonnet Owned by:
Priority: minor Milestone: Past
Component: Templates/CSS Version:
Keywords: Cc:

The template viewThreadsAtBottom.py tests if the current view is called "view" and shows the "Add comment" button only of this is true.

With ATContentTypes, the views are called "document_view", "file_view", etc. so the button is never shown.

The condition should be changed to: if the current view CONTAINS view.

I included a new version of viewThreadsAtBottom.py

Sorry, I had left some test data in the script. It is fixed now.

The line I've changed is:

isViewTemplate python:template_id.find(view_action)<>-1;

in plone 2.1 bundle the comment button is now showing up correctly. however, when you're looking at the 'discussion_reply_form' for a top level comment, there are TWO 'add comment' buttons, but only one of them works. when looking at lower level comment replies, only the working button is displayed.

the second 'add comment' button was actually the original that shows up at the bottom of the content as the result of the viewThreadsAtBottom template code. was able to make it (and any existing talkback threads, which were showing up as well) disappear by adding <metal:block fill-slot="sub" /> to discussion_reply_form.cpt.
